Workbook

If you want to use Cape Verdean documents abroad, you can request the apostille simply and quickly on the Gov.cv portal.

1. Choose the Workbook type:
   • Online apostille: for original electronic documents (certificates, criminal record, etc.) that are valid and available online;
   • Electronic apostille: faster and safer. Check if the destination country accepts electronic Apostilles;
   • Paper workbook: when completed, it is sent for collection at a public institution or can be delivered at home (plus shipping cost).
2. Details by type of Workbook
   • Online workbook
     • Available for: Birth, marriage, death, criminal record and other valid electronic documents. It is necessary that the document is valid and available on a secure public server for verification of authenticity.
   • Electronic Workbook
     • the fastest and safest way to workbook. You need to confirm that the country where you are going to use the document accepts the electronic version.
   • Paper Workbook
     • you can order online through the Gov.cv portal and, later, pick up the Apostille for free at a public institution or choose to send it to your home (plus €15 for postage). In this case, the delivery time is up to 10 working days after shipping from Cape Verde.
3. Make Payment

   Make the payment through the available digital options: MBWay, Multibanco, Visa, Vinti4, Paypal, MasterCard or American Express.
