Term of Authentication

Documents issued abroad are considered legalized if they meet the following requirements:

• respect the legislation of the country where they were issued;
• the signature of the public official is notarized by a Cape Verdean diplomatic or consular agent in that country;
• the signature of the diplomatic/consular agent is authenticated with the official consular white seal.
