You can request the certificate of life and identity on the portal or in the GOV.CV app. Click "Apply online" to start and follow these steps:

Provide your full name, date of birth and other required details

Provide your identification document
Use a valid identification document
Fill in the additional details
Select the country for the certificate
Finalize the request
Check that all the details are correct before finalizing the request
After approval, the certificate is available in digital format (PDF), ready for download and printing.

Track the status of your certificate of life and identity request in the "My requests" area, available on the portal or in the GOV.CV app.
