Transcript of Death

The Death Transcription can be requested when the death occurs outside Cape Verde and the death registration is made abroad. The transcription request can be made on the Gov.cv portal. 

1. Required Documents:
   • Valid death certificate;
   • Application duly signed by the applicant;
   • Applicant's ID.
2. Deadline:

   The process can take between 15 to 20 business days.
