The cost of the marriage certificate varies depending on where the request is made. The amounts for requests made in Cabo Verde differ from those applicable to requests made abroad.

The multilingual certificate is issued in the formats approved by the International Convention on the Issue of Multilingual Extracts from Civil Status Records.
How to apply for the marriage certificate online
You can request the marriage certificate on the portal or in the GOV.CV app. Click "Apply online" to start and follow these steps:

Fill in the marriage details
Provide the name and document of the applicant and the spouse, and the date of the marriage
Finalize the request
